This aspergilla (sprinkler/sprinkler stick) is used to bless an item, home, car, or person as well as cleanse a ceremonial area prior to ritual.
Lunarized water, saltwater, or rainwater is prepared and poured into the wooden blessing bowl. Typically, a sprig of basil is added to the blessed sprinkle water as a symbol of love and good wishes, holiness, purity, and sanctity, among many others. Basil is considered the King of herbs as it is told that a basil was found growing where the cross of Christ was discovered.
This is a beautiful addition to use in home blessings (after home has been cleared and cleansed), moon ceremonies, new car v blessings, baby blessings etc.
