This is a lovely, hardy, well-made toy! My cat went wild for it, which is a big deal because she's quite a small thing and it's easy for cat toys to make her feel like prey instead of predator - adult-sized attachments often too chonky or large. This one is a great size for her - slim, snake-y but still insect-sized, and short enough to control easily!

I have a two year old cat with a lot of energy, and needs to run for a good hour a day or he becomes a menace. Before he would only really play with a mouse lure made out of boar hair (but only the grey ones, not the brown). I'm giving this background, because he loves this thing! He's been chasing it nonstop, running, jumping, pouncing and getting rid of that play energy, plus its harder for him to grip so he can't just grab and hold it. The leather seems high quality and sturdy (I'll have to stop him from chewing on it to much), and has the advantage of not getting boar hair everywhere. I love to get my cats more natural toys and will be buying and sampling every in there store over time. Plus shipping was fast even though I'm on the other side of the country.
