Not sure whether it is due to the smell of animal hide/fur, but my cat loves this toy! It is great because she likes to chase it when it is a wand attachment AND play with it on her own when not attached to the wand. Very high quality! Have had it for a month so far and despite her playing rough with the toy and spending a fair amount of time chewing on it, the toy is still intact. I also like that there are no metal bits (like bells) in it. So I can allow her to chew on it for an hour without worrying about her biting or swallowing any metal bits. Also the customer service was great from the seller! I have bought a few toys from her in the past and will definitely be buying more toys again!
